Wickford Art Festival Returns to Wilson Park for 63rd Year

​The Wickford Art Association is preparing to host the 63rd annual Wickford Art Festival on July 11 and 12, 2026, bringing a celebration of fine art, community, and seaside charm to Wilson Park.
Running from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days, the event will feature nearly 200 juried fine artists from across New England and the country. Visitors can expect to explore a diverse array of mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, and woodworking. The weekend will also feature live artist demonstrations, local food trucks, and live music.
Linda Impagliazzo, Executive Director of the Wickford Art Association, emphasized the rigorous, anonymous jury process that ensures the festival maintains its high standards as a premier fine art event. "We want to make sure it's just fine art," Impagliazzo noted, adding that the blind jury system guarantees fairness for all applicants.
This year, the "Face of the Festival" honors belong to Rhode Island native and long-time association member Jillian Barber. Celebrating an art career spanning six decades, Barber’s ceramic sculpture, "In The Realm of Faerie," will be featured on all promotional materials, including posters and t-shirts. Proceeds from these sales will support the Association’s education programs and youth scholarships. The original sculpture is also currently on display and available for purchase at the Wickford Art Gallery.
While the festival is a major summer highlight, the Wickford Art Association remains a year-round cultural hub. Located at 36 Beach Street, the organization offers 12 gallery exhibits annually, a variety of youth and adult art classes, and community events. The Association is actively accepting new members, who receive discounts on classes and exhibit entries, as well as volunteers to assist with the upcoming festival.
