Falvey Insurance Group Tees Up to Support Rhode Island SPCA with "Fore the Pets" Golf Tournament6/25/2026 NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Local business and animal welfare are coming together on the green this summer. Falvey Insurance Group is calling all golf enthusiasts and animal lovers to participate in its upcoming charity golf tournament, "Fore the Pets," scheduled for Monday, July 13, 2026, at the North Kingstown Golf Course. The event promises a full day of golf, on-course games, raffles, and a reception, all for a good cause. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RISPCA), supporting their mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals across the state. Seiana Barbato, Group Marketing Coordinator at Falvey Insurance Group, spearheads the tournament's logistics. In a recent Spotlight Interview with the Rhode Island Wave, Barbato shared her excitement for the event. "We just are trying to get together the community to help support one of our philanthropy partners," she said. Barbato noted that previous charity tournaments hosted by Falvey have seen tremendous success, with a past "Fore the Pets" event raising $25,000 and last year's "Fore the Vets" raising $30,000. Founded in 1870, the RISPCA is the oldest non-profit animal welfare organization in Rhode Island. It provides essential services such as adoption programs, veterinary care, humane education, and animal cruelty investigations. “The Rhode Island SPCA is excited to partner with Falvey Insurance Group both on and off the greens,” said Todd Cramer, President of the RISPCA. Cramer highlighted that Falvey’s sponsorship also extends to the newly coined "Anchored Paws" boarding program, which provides temporary housing for pets when their caregivers face hardships. "Thanks to Falvey, this program will help to keep people and pets together," he added. Representatives from the RISPCA will be on-site during the tournament to discuss their work and join participants for lunch. Registration for the tournament is currently open, with an entry fee of $165 for individuals or $660 for a foursome. With the tournament selling out in previous years, organizers encourage interested golfers to secure their spots as soon as possible, ideally by July 10. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for local businesses looking to support the cause.
